A week of progress. Jim has started three meals a day. He is able to enjoy several foods he hasn't had for a long time. He is eating enough that they are able to not supplement by the feeding tube. He is not up to 100% normal foods. Most meats are ground but he does get things like noodles, breads, chopped salad etc. Now the big focus is on speech. He had a cognitive test earlier this week and as the family thought, his physical abilities are coming back faster and more than speech and thought. Obviously an area for continued prayer.

Jim is really trying to get around by walking and doing everything himself. He is working and trying so hard and we are so proud of him. Karen is going Monday to tour the Oregon Rehabilitation Center where he maybe ready to go to in as little as a week.

So many cards are being sent that we are overwhelmed with the amount of love and support for our family. With words of support, encouragement and prayers we are so thankful. The occasional funny card or message gets a laugh from us all. Thank you so, Team Fager
